The Export Utility for IBM® Lotus Notes® / Domino® enables you to export data from any Lotus Notes database into the following formats: PDF Microsoft Excel Microsoft Access Microsoft Word XML CSV (comma delimited) Tab Other character delimited formats The export utility includes the following features: Data in view columns can be exported, specific fields in documents can be exported or whole documents can be exported. File attachments contained within documents can be exported. Selection criteria can be used to specify which documents to export - this can be a Lotus Notes selection formula, based on values contained within document fields or based on values displayed in view columns. Exported files can be saved to the filesystem or in the export application itself. You can specify the filename or have the filename determined from a Lotus Notes formula or field value. Exports can be scheduled to be run on a once-off basis or periodically - every 5 minutes, hourly, daily, weekly or monthly using the Export Scheduler. You can even setup your own preferred schedules. Exports can be run in the background on the Lotus Notes client enabling you to continue working while the export runs. View column formatting such as font style, alignment, color, column settings, etc can be exported to retain data formatting when exporting view columns. Additional special document information can also be exported - attachment names, document size, # of responses, note id, universal id, created, last modified, last updated by. Full support for web browsers to create exports and navigate around databases & design elements just like a Notes client. Administrator can control which databases may be exported from. Quick Export functionality - simply select a database, the view to export and the export format type and the export starts immediately. Exports can be run on-demand from external applications. Filtering of non-standard characters from exported data. You can supply your own customised LotusScript® code to be automatically executed before, during and after the export giving you more control over the complete export process. Export design cache engine to speed up navigation and selection of design elements in databases. Customisable CSS settings enabling to control all color, font, table and other style settings for the web browser interface. Full help documentation. Full error logging and online debugging to help with troubleshooting of problems. Any error logs can be easily sent to our customer support team automatically at the click of a button. API companion product

Available Licenses

The following licenses are available for this product: Single User... Most suitable if the product will be used by 1 - 20 users or servers. A single user license is required for each user and / or Domino server that will be using the application and each license is assigned to a specific Notes user name or Domino server name. Additional single user licenses may be purchased at any time or upgraded to Organizational Unit or Organization licenses. Organizational Unit... Most suitable for unlimited use of the product by users or servers within a specific section of your company. The product will be licensed to all users / servers who have been certified with a common Organizational Unit certifier. Organizational Unit licenses may be upgraded to Organization licenses. Organization... Most suitable for unlimited use of the product by all users within your company. The product will be licensed to all users / servers who have been certified with a common Organizational certifier.

What Licenses do I Require?

The following scenarios will assist you in determining which licenses you may need to order. I will be the only person using this application and will be installing it either on my Lotus Notes client or Lotus Domino server. I will not be running any scheduled exports. If you are the only person who will be using this application then you will only need to purchase a Single User license. There are no restrictions on whether the application is installed on your Lotus Notes client or on your Lotus Domino server. I will be the only person using this application and will be installing it either to my Lotus Notes client or Lotus Domino server. I would like to run exports on a scheduled basis on the Domino server. When running scheduled exports you will require the following licenses: As the user of the application you will need a single user license for yourself. A single user license is required for the Notes ID that is used to enable the Export Scheduler agent (if the Notes ID is different from your own). A single user license is required for the Domino server that will be running the scheduled exports. Multiple people will be using this application. In addition to the above licensing scenarios all you simply need to do is order a single user license for each additional person who will be using the application. The whole department within our organisation will be using the application. If your department has more than 15 people and they have all been certified with a common Organization Unit certifier then the Organization Unit license is the most appropriate. If your organisation does not use Organization Unit certifiers and there are more than 20 people in your department then the Organization license is the most appropriate. Otherwise purchasing single user licenses for each person who will using the application is most appropriate. The entire company will be using the application. If your company consists of more than 15 people then you should purchase the Organization license. If your company consists of less than 15 people then a single user licenses for each person is recommended.

Transferring of Licenses

All licenses are non-transferable once issued. If you order a license with an incorrect name you may be required to purchase a new license for the corrected name if it substantially differs from the original name. If you require a license to be re-issued due to a change in a person or a server name we do allow this ONE-TIME only provided: For the re-issue of a license to a person who has changed their last name their first name and organization name in their Full Lotus Notes name must be the same. For the re-issue of a license to a person who has been re-certified under a different certifier their full name (also known as the Common name) must be the same. For the re-issue of a license to a server where the server name has been changed the Organization name in the server's Full Lotus Notes name must be the same. For the re-issue of a license to a server which has been re-certified under a different certifier the server's name (also known as the Common name) must be the same. The request for the new name must be made within 12 months of the license issue date. Re-issue of licenses is available for Single User licenses only. Where there is no similarity between the new and the old name, or more than 12 months has passed since the license was issued, a new license must be purchased.

Application Trial

This product may be downloaded and tested prior to purchasing licenses for it. The trial version is not limited in any way except that a maximum of 10 documents can be exported at any time up to a total maximum 100 documents before the trial period expires. After downloading the product please read all information contained in the installation guide (included with the downloaded file) for details on deploying and configuring the application. Additional information can be found in the 'Help - Using' document of the application and the help information available on each view / form.
